Now, to be fair, I'm currently paused and typing this out in the process of beating that mission on my first try on max difficulty with an utter sliver of health and some clutch moments - namely, finding out that bombing runs can kill enemy choppers and that enemy AA are complete idiots that won't prioritize your own heli as long as you throw pipsqueaks or spawn turrets to distract them for half a second. REPEATEDLY.ĪND IT'S ONE WHERE THE SPAWN POINTS FOR TURRETS NEAR YOUR OWN BASE ARE AWFULLY POSITIONED AND FEW IN NUMBER. Now, the only way to counter these is either your own heli, or have a bunch of ToW turrets and use the increased range buff as the enemy approaches so they three-shot it ASAP, although it still probably killed 5 of your troops and 2 of your vehicles by then.ĪND ONE OF THE FINAL MISSIONS SPAWNS THESE TWO AT A TIME. And one of the final missions spawns these two at a time. As a 100% cheevo max difficulty player, I can say, pretty much everything added last-second on release is awful in my eyes.Ģ enemy AA tanks? They clump up and get distracted on random player turrets and die instantly to your own helicopter.Įnemy heli? Will 100% kill all of your side for the next minute.
